BC Unicorn Jump — Privacy Policy

BC Unicorn Jump ("the Extension") is a browser extension that adds a quick document-number jump to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central web client. This policy explains what the Extension does and does not do with your information.

Summary

The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or usage data. It has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

What the Extension does

• Adds a button and a small input popup to the Business Central navigation bar (on businesscentral.dynamics.com).
• When you type a document number and activate it, the Extension navigates the current browser tab to the corresponding Business Central document page, using Business Central's own URL parameters.
• Reads a configuration file (docmap.json) that is bundled inside the Extension package, to map document-number prefixes to the correct page.

Data collection and use

• No data is collected. The document number you type is used only, and immediately, to build the destination URL within your own Business Central session. It is not logged, stored, or sent anywhere by the Extension.
• No remote servers. The Extension makes no network requests to any server operated by the developer or any third party. The only navigation it performs is to businesscentral.dynamics.com — the same site you are already using.
• No analytics or tracking. The Extension contains no analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or tracking code.
• Local settings only. Any preferences are kept in your browser's local extension storage and never leave your device.

Permissions

The Extension requests access to businesscentral.dynamics.com only. This is required so it can add its button to the Business Central interface and navigate to the document you request. It does not request access to any other website or to your browsing history, and it does not run on any site other than Business Central.

Data sharing

Because the Extension collects no data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties.

Children's privacy

The Extension is a workplace productivity tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
